We fell in love with the beading detail on Olivia’s crib which repeats itself in the wood bead chandelier.
The Big Items
Grounding the space, this grey and white boho wool rug adds the right touch of texture and pattern.
On the opposite side of the room we chose a stunning mid century modern inspired dresser, bringing warmth in a whitewash oak finish.
Incorporating grey throughout the room, we knew this grey rubber framed mirror would be perfect right above the dresser. And the changing pad fits right in.
The Little Items
We accessorized the room with both functional and meaningful items creating special moments throughout and making the space feel like home for our little girl. Metallic accents are found in the brass picture frames, beautifully displaying our favourite maternity photoshoot pictures. A small gold picture frame and alphabet piggy bank also add a little metallic sparkle to the room, sitting atop the dresser.
We mounted these display shelves showcasing our book set , with one also acting as a handy little hanging rod for baby girl’s outfit of the day.
A modern pink powder coated end table sits in front the window, with a matching pink bow tie pillow cover nestled neatly on the rocking chair.
We selected a modern and playful wood mobile which ties together all the colours in the room.
And lastly, what’s a baby’s room without all their favourite stuffed toys? We put a cute little plush bunny in the crib, and an adorable little cloud stuffie on her shelf. And the sweet little pink bunny adds a pop colour among a throw pillow and pom pom hamper.
We had such a great time bringing this room together! And now that little Olivia is home, we know she loves her new room too!
